Founded in 1973 by Michael J Kinge, Harlequin Swimming Pools has evolved from a small husband and wife team into an established small business employing a team of experienced swimming pool design, construction and maintenance professionals.
We have always been a Hampshire-based swimming pool company; our first offices were in Sherfield on Loddon near Basingstoke, and our clients were mainly based in north Hampshire and southern Berkshire.

Our core business of swimming pool construction continues all year round, summer and winter. Our swimming pool construction team can work on building two swimming pools at any one time, while our design team is hard at work designing future projects. Since our staff are employed year round, many of them have been with Harlequin Pools for years, a major factor in us producing consistently high standards and a quality end product. This has resulted in a high customer recommendation level - 80% of all new construction work is attained this way.
Our team of full-time engineers are kept busy too, as more and more clients are now having regular weekly, fortnightly or monthly services during the swimming season. Maintenance and repair works are carried out throughout late autumn and winter, alongside our emergency call-out service.
